Although I like this show, I think Doug and Carey are good examples. Doug worked at that fake UPS (I think it as called IPS) and Carey was a secretary, yet they owned a nice house in Queens. Didn't Deacon and Kelly live in an apartment and they couldn't afford a house for a while?
Inheritance and they had the wife's father living with them.... Not only that but Doug's parents were supportive as well..... Deacon and Kelly had a somewhat dysfunctional relationship and couldn't keep two incomes under one roof.....
^^^I mean.... this does kind of play out in the real world
