I don’t think that’s the right way to put it. ‘Before it’s time’ is for something people didn’t know what to do with it in real time and it went under the radar only to be used years later.

That wasn’t the case with this. As soon as this song dropped it sparked the change from admiring the seller to admiring the user

And at the same time ‘prostitute flange’ sparked the change from smashing n dashin hoes to fallin in love with em.

I say all the time , whoever is on top of the game has the power to influence a whole generation and Wayne was dope but man did so much damage it’s comical.

Listen to dedication 3 solo version and it sounds like it could have been realeased 10 years later and still sound fresh. People hated on that mixtape but when you take out the mid YM verses its actually really cohesive and ahead of its time.

Eminem has to be the least influental super star rapper. Outside of a few fringe white boys nobody was really influenced by him.

Like lil wayne is arguably the most influental rap artist outside of rakim if were talking about how many people bit off his flow/swag.

Alot of stuff Wayne did was ahead of its time. This to me was just as impactful as the song in OP

I thought Wayne's verse was super fresh hot & ready Garbage:pachaha::trash:

And I was a huge wayne fan at that time.
