30 km is basically 19 mph. If you couldnt stop in time to avoid hitting the car in front of you at that speed ya had to be tailgating chief
Brakes on my car are fukked. So that's why.

Well there you have it! Just pay the damages and stop stressing. Lesson learned. Your not a bad driver, just got in a bad situation. I had to pay a higher insurance rate for 3 fukking years because of a single car accident in my box truck. Got scalped ( hit a bridge and didnt read the clearance sign) and paid a 150 ticket and 300 to my job but the result was that 3 year insurance thing. Avergaged an extra 40 to 50 bucks on top of my premium but i never paid over 120 a month though

During a rain shower some years back, i ran in the back of someone who had to stop quickly because some dipshyt in front of her had to stop right across an intersection to buy a fukking newspaper.
It's minor so nothing may come it, but if you had some major damage you'd be screwed.
