Jesus' existence has been contested by many throughout the ages. But the truth is, he did exist. All the biblical scholar text I've come across doesn't deny this for what it's worth. Now whether or not he died on a cross for our sins and was actually the Son of God is what is in question. In fact, this the primary difference between Islam and Christianity and it's why they stay at each others' throats.
