He does have a point. Did any of those people vote for politicians that said they would end homelessness or present a plan to end homelessness? Given the lack of "yes" that was in that room, most likely they didn't do that. So if they feel that's it's their problem, they can start some non-profits, fund some non-profits, or vote for people who will solve the problem.But he has a point.
