LO was inconsistent his whole career until PJ made him a 6th man. He was always super talented but yall wanna act like he was some surefire #2 option or something. Uhhh no. Dude was a known underachiever and finally when he became a 6th man he just thrived and it was beautiful. Also in 2005 he missed 18 games that year so he was hurt. Caron Butler was only in his 3rd season in 2005. We ended up flipping him for Kwame though which ended up getting us pau. Kobe was also best friends with Caron, he was pissed when he got traded.
the point is, that's a better supporting cast than what a lot of kobe's contemporaries played with thru most of their career.
Iverson, T-Mac, etc played with less help than that, and they did it for way more than 3 seasons.
yet, you kobe stans stay claiming that kobe wasted his prime.

NO, you just got a glimpse of what kobe's career would really look like if he didn't have the priveledge of playing on stacked teams thru most of his career.
I guess this is the part where yall downplay pau Gasol & them.
Just watch highlights of the 2009 or 2010 playoffs no announcer was referring to Bron as the best player in the NBA until his first year with Miami.
I don't know about announcers, but analysts already had LeBron as the best player before he went to Miami.
they weren't even shy when stating the obvious about what would happen if kobe & LeBron switched teams.
