Way better musicians for sure. The Beatles are trash musicians all things considered.

They don’t have transcendent musicianship. They don’t have a Page, Clapton, Slash, Hendrix, Bonham in the group like most legendary bands have. I think what makes the Beatles potent is that you have arguably two top ten song writers (Lennon and Paul) and arguably a top 30 song writer (George) of all time—in one group.

Deleting/ignoring racist entertainers is painless, free, and doesn't involve any sacrifice.

We choose our battles in this world, but people reluctant to ditch racist entertainers are definitely less likely to take a stand that might involve sacrifice or repercussions.

not about deleting/ignoring because most racism is behind closed doors. i respect the in your face version. it just exist. black people acting suprised by racism in 2025 is crazy. when we focus on ourselves it takes the power away from the wrong people and attracts the right folks. i just assume white people are brought up being exposed to racism . some do the self work some dont. we have to do our own version of that work
