I've found a torrent for the chronological Godfather movie called the Godfather saga. Looking forward to watching that. Might give me a new experience watching it.
No he wouldnt have. He was too hot headed. Michael was a savage too, but he kept a cool head and was more caculated in his actions and decisions. Michael's ruthless ambition took the family to heights Vito could only dream of but, he didn't understand the family portion of it. Vito died happily married surrounded by his kids and grandchildren. Michael died alone, divorced, and broken. He alienated his sister. Killed his brother. Pushed Tom away. Got his daughter killed. Didn't accept his son. Abused his wife and hated her for not being the woman he also ironically got killed. He made alot of mistakes.

Yea I dont get why people think mike was this good don. He made a lot of money. Was very powerful but in the end he LOST. He lost his family. He lost his crew be came up with basically. He was out for himself
Vito lost too and while i think theres was no way out for anyone and that was STARTED by vito, it wasnt gonna end with him and had to end with his children. Vito decided he wanted more respect and murdered a man and set his family up for this fall.

I don't think they should be compared, cause every failure of Michael is a direct reflection on Vito. Michael's failures are Vito's failures.

It’s basically a warning of how sad it is to die rich and alone. Mike had to get gangster to protect the family but he got so cold no one wanted to be around him.
