The biggest travesty was not helping Joe keep his gym afloat before he died. He was sleeping above it at the end of his life. Joe had to sell it before he died and now it's a furniture store. Bernard Hopkins hopes to take it over when the lease ends and fix it up . At Least some Temple students finally got it declared a historic landmark in Philly a few years ago so they couldn't tear it down. I drive by every once and while and just shake my head
