No, Friday After Next is funnier than Next Friday. The problem with Next Friday is that it felt like a big dropoff from Friday, while FAN felt like a resurgence with a better supporting cast.

It really depends on what type of movies you like. Friday was a drama with funny parts. Next Friday was straight comedy and Friday after next was weak ass slap stick comedy.
