He’s closer to the way people talk about now with the Death Row stuff alone than if he died before going to DR

I remember before Me Against the World the knock at the time was that his beats were shytty for the most part. So I’m surprised to see people pick Pre Death Row.

I’m picking Death Row. All Eyez on Me was more pop compared to what he did before. But Makaveli took it all the back to the rawness of 2Pacalypse Now but he improved as a rapper. And I think his unreleased shyt on Death Row was better.

Even Pac himself was dissatisfied with his beats at the time.

I remember a Pac interview where he was talking about Makaveli and saying he couldn't believe the shyt he was coming up with and was genuinely excited about levelling up as an MC. :mjcry: We have no idea how high Pac's ceiling was an MC.

I say predeathrow pac and I’m counting a lot of the unreleased tracks also. The original versions of black cotton, dope fiends diner, cause I had to, thugs get lonely too, etc are some of his best work.

Adding on me against the world got me through some tough times in my early life and the song strictly 4 my nikkaz might be my favorite pac song in general. So that’s my favorite era from him. Not knocking DEATHROW pac at all but if I had to choose…….

Pac is the GOAT period
