Was QBR exposed as being fraudulent this weekend?

It was. The screen pass TD to Sampson was 66 yards. The throw to Bond was only 52 yards.
That was Sampson's running highlight moreso that the pass

That 52 yard bomb was the highlight for Shadeur, rolled out of the pocket and dotted that shyt like a vet, they haven't had any passes in the air that long all season iirc

Just counting the yards doesn't quantify a "big play" you gotta be trolling with that logic

How I rate quarterbacks is a combo of stats and eye test.

I hate when I hear that a quarterback is in a zone or on fire because he completed 7 passes in a row, but when I look at those passes, the shyt is check downs with 1 or 2 five yd completions "downfield" with a tight end finding the soft spot in the zone:camby: That's the equivalent of saying a basketball player is in a zone because he made a layup and 5 free throws

That player will have a rating higher than the QB who went 4 for 7, but those 4 completions are at least 15 yds each and his 3 incompletions consist of 1 drop and 2 incompletions from throwing the ball out of bounds because no one was open

It wasn't a big play because it was 66 yards. It was a big play because it was a touchdown.

That wasn't SHADEURS big play, which is what the conversation was about, what part of that aren't you getting? The screen pass was big for the nikka who ran it in, not shadeur, shyt took minimal effort on his part

Shadeurs big pass was the 52 yard bomb that ended at like the 1yd line cuz the receiver lost balance, that actually showed us something from Shadeur moreso that how far the receiver took it after catching the pass

:heh: by your logic the following wildcat play that got the touchdown was a "bigger" play because they scored:mjlol: are you kidding me? The game itself is completely meaningless for both teams, they already out of contention.

Myles getting the sack record and Shadeur making high level QB plays are the only moments worth noting on the Browns for the rest of this season, that's all people are gonna bother talking about

I saw a lot of hype over the weekend about Shedeur Sanders and I don’t get it.

Help me understand. This kid’s big play of the game was a screen pass. And he was a mediocre 11-20 passing.

Hardly anything to be excited about. But I guess they won the game.

Kids got a long way to go.

No, it wasn't.

They have to be cacs. They can't help but to troll and play dumb.

A 5th round draft pick in his first start launches the ball down the field for 50 yards and they say they're not impressed :heh:

I don't even think Jalen threw that far his first game.

11 of 20 passing is objectively average.
In fact, it's BELOW AVERAGE for a professional NFL quarterback.

Some of you routinely hop into these threads where any tiny critique of a black player is manipulated to somehow be "cacs" or veiled racism.

Maybe...Shedeur Sanders just had a couple of big plays in an otherwise average game.
Maybe.

😘

You want to know which black quarterback actually deserves some threads on here? Jacoby Brissett.
Because he's ACTUALLY balling right now, in ways that Kyler Murray hasn't done in years.
