hiphop wise i dont think it was ahead of its time, you have to remember people been using electronic equipment for years,, it was just a stage in rza's life doing something different that he had an interest in

if you go back and take time to listen to the beats you can hear the simplicity in the beats compared to other electronic producers that were using keyboards and synth machines

this is what turned me off about bobby digital, very kool alias but the beats were lacking that punch, can you blame him tho for trying something new? he already did the prince rakeem, gravediggerz, wu tang stuff and he probably thought it was time to move on

Forever was the next stage of his production, it was gritty yet very clean and concise. Bob Digi was cool musically, but it wasnt 'next' or anything. im dissapointed hes never done a true RZA solo (Birth had some Digi shyt on it) but i liked the character. theres at least 10 songs i still bump alot from it. NYC Everything and Domestic Violence bring back alot of memories
