Last year he had 85 catches for 1,105 yards and 9 TDs. This year he was coming off an injury, so this season doesnt really count. He only played in 5 games.

I dont think he's a #1 WR though in the NFL though:manny:

I would say he's slightly above average.

So you are openly admitting that you know nothing about the 49er offense or their history? There's a reason why when the switch was made from Alex to Kaep that Crabtree's numbers skyrocketed. The offense was built around the running game which was and still is one of the best in the league behind Gore and an offensive line with multiple pro bowl talents. Kaep coming in opened up and diversified the offense. Crabtree went for 1100 yards and nine TDs last year and a lot of it was behind Kaep's 7 starts to end the year. He has also put up numbers in the postseason including this year at Green Bay in -20 degrees wind chill.

To blame him for the final play is inaccurate. Kaep said himself it was a poor throw. It needed to be at least a half yard deeper so Crabtree could make a play on it. Terrible thread from someone who doesn't watch the team.

That's what I said in the other thread. Great play by Sherman, but if Kaepernick would've been able to get the ball towards Crabtree's back shoulder...........Crabtree would've caught the GW TD:manny:

Skyrocketed? nikka he had 13 more catches and only 231 more yards than the year before. Not exactly mind blowing improvement :stopitslime:

The guy had 1100 yards, 9TDs last year with 2 of the worst QBs (according to the Coli) in the history of the league throwing him the ball. Not to mention he was the #1 receiver and played in a conservative run first offense. Dude's numbers were right up there with Julio, Roddie, Dez, Cruz, Colston, Green....

Then an additional 290 yards and 3 TDs in 3 games in the playoffs.

mediocre? :mjlol:

i dunno about mediocre.. but i've never been wowed while watching him play.

just seems like he goes about his business and puts up decent numbers.

i'd compare him to stevie johnson before i mention the aj/dez/julio tier.
