Most people forget that the Moors themselves were enslaved by the Europeans after they were conquered. So how could they "help" Europeans in enslaving Africans. The Europeans that first found out lower West Africa were the Portuguese after they wanted to migrate more into the interior from coastal North Africa via sailing. When they did and wanted to raid for slaves, they were WHOOPED the Mali Empire(which was PASSED its prime) who WOULD NOT allow slave rading from foreigners whether it be Europeans, Moors, Arabs,etc.

This is why its ridiculous to think Moors took "black slaves" in large number. They the Moors and Arabs were under the thumb of these Sahelian kingdoms.

The Moors selling black slaves in large volume is a myth that just wont go away on here and I have debunked it many times.

I find it ridiculous to believe that a ragtag and disorganised Berber armies pillaging and raiding throughout the Sudan, with these main powers in control. The Almoravids(Moors) represent the exception of Berber Military might yet they were not even able to conquer Ghana, despite the ongoing historical myths of the Almoravid conquest of Ghana. Which is why I said slaves being exporting from the Western Sudan would be on the lowest behind; far behind gold, salt and ivory. It is only until later much after the Moorish period, around the 19th century that we see larger volumes of black slaves being linked to the Saharan trade.

Again it is retarded to think the Moors were enslaving Western Sudanese in large numbers when:
1. Western Sudanese were apart of the Moors.
2 The Berbers(Moors) and Arabs were under the thumb of Western Sudanese people. Those kingdoms would have not tolerated slave raids near there home.
3. It would have been EXPENSIVE to export slaves from Western Sudan crossing into the desert.
4. The slaves the Moors mostly imported were European slave women. Modern day Northwest African DNA agrees with this; Berbers Y-DNA is mainly African E-M81(slave master) while theri MtdDNA is diverse with the bulk of it being European ancestry(slaves).
5. Western Sudanic kingdoms like Ghana, Mali, and Songhai never DEPENDED on slavery. Most of the exports were Gold, salt and ivory.

The only Western Sudanic kingdom that was really involved in slaving was the Kanem Empire and they weren't really linked to the Saharan trade like Berbers(Moors) and other Western Sudanese, but their routes were more eastern towards Cairo.

You have it backwards, the Africans and Arabs betrayed the Jews once they entered into Africa after the expulsion from Judea in 70 AD. They were betrayed and warred against, sold into Arab and African slavery, and then in the 1500s they were sold into the hands of the europeans who brought us to the Americas.
