Idk about the south but Kroger’s in the Midwest are usually average to above average. Meijer’s are pretty much the same but just a lot more expensive.

Some people buy their groceries from Family Dollar, and Dollar General. But in the south I would only shop at Kroger or Publix.

I only ever seen them in Louisiana and I lived in damn near every state in the deep south

And it was a ghetto as the name suggested… but I’ve seen worse.


I think Publix or Albertsons are like the “Gold” standard or something…


But to be honest, HEB kinda shyts on them all unless you are into Whole Foods or something.

Walmart is horrible for grocery shopping. Meat selection is damn near non-existent. Everything else is just unorganized.
