His whole speech was he was dropping 2 albums this year.
The first one flopped and he lost a lot of money paying for all the music videos, beats, features, radio play, and promo himself, so he cancelled the second album realizing he no longer can make money from music, and decided to try and save face for the first flop

"I'm going to drop it in January, it's a full body of work," 50 Cent said, "I wouldn't call it a mixtape because it's a higher grade than the material that I put out on mixtapes. I recorded so many album quality songs that I'm going to put the Animal project out as my viral marketing plan and then it will come out after, Street King Immortal."

Well i guess it was left over songs from ski ... those beats from animal ambition sounded so dated. Sort of like how the war angel LP was to bisd.

They were all leftover beats from 08/09. There were some interviews with the producers where they were saying they gave them to fif years ago and didn't even know he was gonna use them till they heard the AA tracks on the radio and internet
