Ive been a big broncos fan for yrs and even I can say that the chiefs had a great season and lots of teams would love to be in their situation (bright future with good coach)

They won at least 8 games, which gives the Niners their second round pick this year. So I would say they had a successful season.


But seriously, they have a great fan base that deserves success in the playoffs.
They came a long way compared to last year which should give them some optimism.

It's still an Indian burial ground...the Chiefs still get buried there on a regular basis.

The Chiefs went from being essentially a doormat to being a playoff team. If they figure out the frauds on defense and cut them and find Alex Smith (and his eventual replacement) some more weapons they will be contenders for the division crown and then some.

Ended the year 1-6 vs. teams with a winning record. Biggest frauds the NFL has seen in a long while.

So we just going to ignore the two big injuries on their defensive line before they started losing? Hali was never the same and neither was Houston. Those two were the centerpiece of that defense along with Poe. Once they couldn't get pressure on the QBs like they had been earlier in the season then it exposed holes in the rest of the defense. Even in the Chargers game they went down they held the Chargers offense mostly in check. It wasn't until those injuries they started getting shredded.

And as a Chiefs fan it's sad to say but we've grown to accept playoff failure. After going 13-3 twice and losing in the first playoff game we know regular season only means so much so a large majority of us know not to get our hopes too high. Even with that said ANY fanbase is going to be shell shocked over blowing a 28 point second half lead.

even tho that indy game was disappointing im still excited for next year
