The Krogan didn't develop naturally,. they were still wild animals until the Salarians came and super sped up their brain development and growth to fight them giant spiders... but them nikkas brains was still to wild and primitive and they ended up Nuking their own planet while still multiplying at an astronomical rate.. the counsil wasn't bout to let these nuke carrying wild animals spread throughout the galaxies.. drastic mztters had to be taken for everyones sake

The call they made during the Krogan war was necessary evil. In ME3? You're a dirtbag if you didn't cure the genophage.

THe Krogan were never meant to be advanced like the other aliens. They got a taste of high technology, got bored and started eating each other.

Them dudes produce offspring like wildfire so I guess the Genophage was needed and on top of that the Turians planted a giant nuke on their home planet to finish the job just in case they tried to flex again
