I always found it funny Nintendo showed Yokoi (the man who basically gave Nintendo the portable market which they hold to this day) the door for the Virtual Boy, yet Miyamoto was the genius who told Nintendo to go with cartridges instead of CDs for the 64 (and handed Sony/PS1 the market as a result)
