Yea it was made up...even the drowning of Wakanda was weak because they knew black folks have PTSD from 2005 Katrina. The entire film was so blatanly a slap in the face to Jack Kirby and Stan Lee, Ryan Coogler gotta have sit down with me.

Chadwick mot being able to redeem the character was gonna be a hard one. Which is why we need to let Coogler know how bad he fukked up
