Error Spence has NEVER been knocked out before. Then all of sudden Bud knocks him down several times, and damn near kills Spence inside the ring. Thats not suspicious to you? Spence fought fighters much bigger and naturally stronger than Bud too. And he never looked this bad during and after a fight.

Also lets take into consideration the drug testing protocols was pretty lack luster. I didn't see one person taking blood/urine samples in All Access episodes. Matter of fact I still don't think there was any drug testing done at all. It wasn't stressed enough like Manny vs. Floyd.

Spence blocks punches with his face. Bud just had more skill than anyone he faced to exploit it.

Not knocking the dude anyone can get clipped. But his lack of head movement and varied attack was gonna come to a head at some point.

Long story short, he's predictable. And not exceptionally fast doing it.

I'm a fan. Just knew barring an epic brain fart Crawford would stop him. Won lunch at work off it.

But he's got a lot more in common with Margarito than they wanna admit.

Slow, come forward. Easily hittable. Not really a 1 punch KO kind of guy, more accumulating kind of guy who stalks. More athletic yes but style wise very close.

And no I not a prisoner of the moment here. I always saw his flaws. Once he got peppered by Ugas that was it for me to solidify how his would go. I always favored Bud but that was a shock to me he still got hit like that.

He and his team got way too comfortable with him being hit that much without a change in approach.

Also a lot of us assumed spence was stronger cause he is da bigger man pause...but crawford is deadlifting almost 500 pounds, has a wrestling background, and has like 10 straight knockouts...he's stronger than ppl thought

Why I wouldn't be surprised if Spence seems real regular once he moves up in weight and ain't bigger and stronger than everyone else
The two welters that could really challenge him physically gave him a ass whupping and a slight split decision win (Bud & Porter)

100% agree. I mentioned that in the fight thread. When he gets to 154, he won't be able to be a weight bully against those dudes, and his lack of KO power would be even more evident. On top of that those dudes in 154 can CRACK with alot of punching power (Mendoza, Lubin, Rosario, Charlo, etc). And Spence's lack of defense would make it worse for him
