Was there ever a point in time where someone could have convinced you to delete System 32?

You would think windows would make a file that important undeletable or give you an explanation of what will happen if you try and delete it followed by 8 confirmation boxes asking if that's what you really want to do.

Imagine taking your computer to the shop and explaining that you deleted your sys32 file because a random guy on the internet told you to. They're going to laugh in your face and overcharge you.

I remember when I got my very first pc in 2001. I bought spider man the game not knowing you needed a gfx card. My dumb ass stayed up all night on yahoo search trying to download an nvidia card. I think I ended up with the drivers.

A long time ago, I used to work at an office supply retail store. Back then, they used to sell typewriters, word processors and PCs. Word processors were like typewriters, but has a small amount of memory so that you first type your document and there's a little monitor that displayed your text. You then can print out your document, which the word processor would then electronically type it out. And, it could save documents on a 3 1/2" floppy disk.
This woman came into the store one day and asked me why she couldn't play this game on her word processor. She bought a PC video game that you install from a 3 1/2" disk for a Windows-based computer, and she put the disk into the word processor to play it for her kids. :wtf: I told her that it only works on computers.

Honestly no.

1. We built computers in my shop class
2. I don't trust anybody on the Internet. if someone would have told me to delete system 32 and I didn't know what it was I would have researched it or asked some one I personally knew before I made a move.

Yeah I almost did when I was like 11, but I googled it and came to the conclusion it wasn't worth it.
