Not at all breh..we've had big movies like Mad Max and smaller movies like dope or Ex Machina. There's been something good in the theaters every week and something for everyone. Starting with Furious 7 and even if you want to skip FF this weekend, you've still got options like the gift and then next week we've got straight outta compton and the man from uncle

breh you really can't count ex machina as a summer movie as much as i love it..came out in early april and the blu came out in july.

either way i'm still rolling with summer 2014 compared to this year even if we did get mad max (and i still haven't seen Inside Out)

be real, we've seen so many movies at this point that it takes a monumentally awesome movie to really blow you away.

this is a short sited comment b/c im putting no thought into it, but the only 2 movies i was kinda "blown away" by this year so far were Mad Max and Kingsmen

everything else has been good to fun to meh to forgettable

I was at the theater alot but I kind've agree, most of the releases this summer were underwhelming. Not WOAT status but not great either. Mad Max Fury Road and Jurassic World I enjoyed. Age of Ultron (if it counts) was

. Everything else was nothing to write home about. This year in general has been pretty underwhelming tbh.

Hasn't it been like this for a few years now tho..

AoU was meh, trailer was better then the movie :skip:

I liked Mad Max FR. But the best movies released this year so far, are Kingsmen and Ex Machina. And those two are not summer flicks.
