solid movie and it never lost my interest but the way people were hyping this movie up, i thought it was going to be some next level shyt.

with arguably the on screen definitive death of the era and a generation.
The series everyone in the era still has ptsd about. Plus made them prescient to the fact.

yeah, i was up at like 3 in the morning watching it, wide awake, couldn't sleep lol

but im watching like, "ok, this is interesting, but uh, im not getting all the hype and praise people are giving this movie"

it was a standard, straight forward movie. Average at best.

10/10 perfect popcorn movie. Nary a dull moment. No rainbow booty loving bullshyt, and plenty of black people front and center during the Darkstar scene.

Maverick schooling his children in the air before putting his boot up Ruskie ass once again are the highlights of the film.

Still can't believe the cac that directed Tron Legacy directed this gem.
