Vegeta straight up said he didn't give a shyt about the other Sayains. His character makes no sense. He's content with being a prince with no kingdom.

His pride wasnt for the individuals but the heritage. He is after all, the monarch and curator of saiyan culture. As their culture goes, dying in battle is a warriors death. Vegeta has never asked nor planned to be wished back to life and I would expect that doing so is seen as dishonorable. He would not want to dishonor his father by doing so. Whether or not there are any other saiyans wouldnt matter to him because saiyan culture as a whole is known throughout the universe. His kingdom is the culture because their customs wouldnt allow them to exist anymore. Aside from power, everything Vegeta does is for saiyan culture. Its why he's the one who always references "saiyans" in battle. When they were fighting Jiren, he didnt take personal offense to Jiren or the God of Destruction's insults towards him. He took offense because they were insulting saiyans as a whole. Looking down on saiyans in general. Even the ones that werent on his team.

Seriously though, the Earth softened and changed his approach. Frieza merked them. He made peace with that shyt by telling himself that then strong survive and the weak perish.

He held on to that view until he found happiness in a family.
