Y’all are bugging. Production and bars are fire. I get it, it’s been awhile since we’ve heard some boom bap so it seems dated in this era but that shyt knocked

As a production head way more than a rapper head, I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting less. I haven't been blown away by any Kanye beats in along time. He was one of my favorite producers for a long time.

I thought he kept it pretty simple on here, in a less is more way. That's good for Push's rhyme style. He lets Push be the star of the show while still still giving the beats some personality. As far as the actual beats go, they're 5 for 7 to me. I like the way they transition into each other and some of the change ups are nice.

I always dig sample based production, and Kanye gave us some nice modern era boom bap. He took a few familiar samples and flipped them in some interesting and dope ways, even if nothing too mind blowing.

My favs: if you know you know, hard piano, santeria, Infared

If you throw in Games We Play then that's my top 5 as well.

Easily his best suited production for a solo effort to date.

Eerie and Dark with soul samples here and there...Instead of the Quirky trap/timberland hybrid shyt.

Reminiscent of HHNF in some ways.
Yeah, Push's production choices have always seemed really dope or they miss the mark big time for me. He'll get some insane production from Nottz and turn around on the next joint and have something fairly weak. His voice and flow is interesting enough for me to listen, but short projects with one good producer are what I would prefer from him. I'd love more of these short projects with other Virginia producers like Bink or Nottz. A project with Push and either one of those guys would be really dope.

Very overrated. The first song was cool the wrestler forgettable. And he's going through Mad Lib albums looking for samples

There's still plenty of boom bap being made from cats like Statik Selektah, so the idea that we haven't heard that kind of sound for a good while is false, and I'd argue this isn't what I nor many others consider to be "boom bap." It definitely sounded more experimental than traditional, more avant garde than classic - and, as a result, more pretentious than genuine.

That's what I got too, Kanye oversampled the fukk outta this.

Only track I'd play just because is Hard Piano. Seniorita would've been my second, but half of it is over sampled bullshyt to me.

Pusha is always solid but Koonye kills my vibe with it.

The beats sound like the soundtrack to pusha t hustling.

will probably be a long video with the tracks

dont forget, kanye hasn't even done a video in 2 years, who knows what kind of different approach or style he'll have with these ,

from reading the comments on here it seems like the folks in their feelings forced themselves not to like it.

Ye definitely didn’t fall off. In fact he proved that as a producer he still got it.
