Its time to stop classing nikkas on G-unit, theres a reason they were THAT successful

they all had DIFFERENT styles

50 although not as lyrical was witty and MADE HITS
Banks had BARS
Buck had the AGGRESSION & DELIVERY
Game had the BARS & PASSION
YAYO was just RAW (his debut album was fukking dope.. fukk your opinions)

Man, 50 Cent was the best in G-Unit. fukk it I'm on record saying that.
All the catchy mainstream singles aside 50 Cent was the best bar for bar. He had the delivery, flow, creativity and the odd very very slick punchline here and there.

50 > Banks > Game > Buck > Yayo

The reason why I prefer new banks to old is that the new banks actually uses wordplay and flows better. Back then Banks was too PL oriented. He'd hit you with one line, and then the next bar had nothing to do with it...it was just line after line. 50 Cent didnt have that problem: I mean listen to this:

50 would have you rapping to yourself doing hand gestures and all that like youre having a convo with somebody

a legend :ohlawd:
It's fair though Banks was only 22 years old when he made Hunger for More no?

The shells pass ya head close enough to hear 'em whistle :mjpls:
Thank god they missed you :ohlawd:
now go grab ya pistol:demonic:

Banks came on Buck's debut and renegaded the whole album on "Prices On My Head"
Buck had the best albums up there with 50 and Game though

My eyes low
Hydro
Leakin' out that Tahoe
I know
G-Unit's the nikkas I'ma ride fo'
Nah ho
I ain't stuntin' nothing that these nikkas say
fukk the rap, I can get ya' monkey ass hit today
& ain't nobody picked me up when I was pinned down
I'm double checkin' 'fore I leave outta my crib now
Holdin' that 40 on me, sunk in the seat
Cuz nikkas feel comfortable when they gettin drunk with the heat
I'm ridin' round here dirty cuz they gunnin' for my spot
I ain't duckin' and dodgin', I'm only runnin' from the cops
Spendin' grand after grand
Bout a hundred on my watch
Just got another buddy, and it holds a 100 shots
I ain't never had a role model cuz he was in a box
So I'm up in the club with either a heater or a ox
Everyday there's another nikka bleedin' on the block
But we ridin' with them burners on, even when it's hot

That's a dope verse, and an underrated song, Buck killed all his G-Unit shyt…side note: yesterday I saw some older dude with a crew cut in a tiny little Mercedes, smaller then the CL, bumping 'Stunt 101', I had to crack the fukk up, it was Buck's verse too as he drove by….

But, Buck really came into his own when he left G-Unit, maybe out of pure survival and hunger, and he's had dozens of better, much better songs and verses since 2004, but really since 2008.

When Buck got that confidence after his first album, he started the ad-libs and his shyt really skyrocketed...he was hesitant for a while, but after Straight Outta Cashville dropped, Buck knew he had it

Buck was always just a southern nikka with simplistic lyrics to me. Nothing special at all imo. Banks on the other hand is a living legend.

you know how I gets down
This pound hold six rounds
I told you I'd be back bytch
Talk that shyt now
You hear that for fif [.45] sound
Duck when I spit rounds
'cause this ain't Beverly Hills
You in the bricks now
We ain't got shyt down here but dope and guns for sell
You get your head cracked and nikkas don't run and tell
It's like we sell crack get caught head back to jail
We on that fukk the police shyt
We living in hell
You better guard your grill homey
And stand your ground
These bullets burn
They hit whoever's standing around
I never learn even after I took a couple shots
I just got me some band-aids and bought a couple glocks
Had to go on a rampage and hit a couple blocks
Once they hear that 12-gauge that's when the trouble stops (boom)
If it's beef then I'm ready to ride
Just come to Casheville you can find me on the southside (motherfukker)
