Naw we need to talk about the two biggest plants from the past decade
Plant the rapper- that big day rollout and aftermath was one of the biggest flops ever. The whole buzz about it being his “debut” album(despite not being on a “label” and dropping 3 projects that are basically albums already) shyt was so universally shytted on that not even the paid media hacks could defend it. Hasn’t been relevant since. His stardom and fan base was always sus to begin with
Aplant Rocky- Remember those fukking complex and other early 2010s hypebeast outlet proclamation him NY savior despite him only having one mid song on YouTube? These dudes were acting like his mixtape was revolutionary even tho it sounded like some cosplay 97 lil flip project. Dropped his debut album where he basically had to have every major artist at the time carry him. The brains behind the operation(yamz) passed and he’s been dropping hot garbage ever since. That testing album is still one of the worst of the past decade. He’s dropped like 4 singles in the past year that have made no fukking noise. Now he’s basically Rihanna moist beard
