6lack last album was successful tho. I think he still make noise6lack been dropping albums since 2016 - that boy washed
Khalid popped in an unexpected way, agree, he's done, Steve Lacy gonna got he same way as Khalid, in two years, he'll be "remember bad habits" status
Cole has a huge and loyal stanbase. He’s going to sell well over time. How are we measuring any of this? His last album went platinum. If my "core stan base" is over a million people, I say that alone goes against me being stale/washed.
The problem with Meek is that he’s the type of artist that’s need a huge budget to produce. Just like Khaled and French Montana. No label is willing to advance him that type of money today because they don’t think the return is thereI’m just here to say I enjoyed Meek’s last album.
Still have several tracks in rotation.
I could see this doing numbers. Latto going for the Doja Cat lane
He's still doing top 5 of the year, multiplatinum numbers if he drops today. Any perceived lack of buzz Cole has right now is only because people are waiting for more music, not that they don't care about him anymore.Cole is done as one of the hottest guys in rap. People keep missing or refusing to accept thisthis is just the game for music right now and the foreseeable future, i don't think we'll have many full blown, "everyone tapped in" type stars. it's too easy to curate an ecosystem of music that focuses specifically on only what you like. everything is fragmented

commercially - they not gonna ring off when they dropOP you mean washed commercially or creatively?
what makes you have faith in sean? he aint really popped since 2018, what's gonna have him charting in 2023/2024? his peers kendrick and cole already did the millennials are maturing raps (marriage, mental health, kids), while other peers like drake and future keeping fukkboi music alive...what's he got to offer to break out of their shadows, that's he's always been in, in 2023?Don't agree Big Sean
That nikka is well doneDon't agree Big Sean
