The original is a damn good EP (a personal classic IMO). You're right, he can't outdo Cole and Kendrick with the introspective millennia-elder topics. Needs to just lean in on the positive relationship angle and see what happens.

yall overrating that twenty88 commercially. that was a good mixtape, but it wasn't putting up points in the paint. they also have a toxic relationship that, at least women, hate, this couple gets dragged more than i knew until one day i was trying to google something about them and saw nothing but dislike for them as a couple, they're not seen as positive or #goals.
