Dope trade...Just one thing. Are they honestly planning on starting Gortat and Nene? Or is Nene more than likely coming off the bench?
Whats wrong with starting them together :leostare:
Big G'Tat is 6'11 and so is Nene
THE INTERNATIONAL TWIN TOWERS (of death) :blessed:
Vesley and Singleton options were just declined. Even EG knows they were busts
Thats a nice dumbass hatin way to look at it. But you know better. You know the talent both of those guys possess
They have the potential to be great players. Its just a matter of being comfortable with a group of players
You'd know this if you ever played basketball on any team in your LIFE. Maybe you haven't
If Chris Singleton ended up in San Antonio and we got Kwehi Leotards, Chris would be a champion right now cuz he wouldn't have missed the free throws
This year, as long as they play just decent? They straight for next year. If they are the worst players on your team?
You have a really good team is what I'm saying. You think a 2nd rd pick next year is gonna come into training camp and outplay either of them? :usure:
We gonna sign them for cheap, then package Chris, Jan, Eric Maynor for Kobe so he can back up Bradley fukkin Beal :salute:
Well, thats if Kobe can beat out Glen Rice Jr. :manny:

start both

Nene is a 4. He played the 4 with Okafor playing center last season.

Media pundits may consider this a good trade because it makes us better in the short term, but they fail to notice that the only reason such a trade was necessary in the first place was because we bungled every pick of the last 5 years except Wall and Beal. Think about it for a few minutes. Since 2009, we've had 5 lotto picks, 2 additional 1st round picks, and 6 2nd round picks. Out of all those guys, we have only Wall, Beal, Booker and possibly Porter as actual rotation caliber players. Any of us, using only a free scouting website like DraftExpress, would have done better. And that's without the benefit of scouts, interviews or workouts.

And who do you propose we "should have" picked up over that 5yr span
I wonder if using that pick will come back to bite the Wizards :lupe:
No, cuz the Wizards don't need another player via draft. Wizards started off as a young team (one of the youngest)
Now we need veteran leadership in backup roles.
We don't need a young big so we can wait another 3yrs for him to develop
We need a decent big that can basically hold down the 2nd team.
And I truly believe we have that already. Seraphin and Vesely are straight as backups. Our problem is if (when) somebody goes down
Cuz dis nikka Nene is known for missing team in his career (he's been pretty good here in dc tho)
If we lose a big, we in serious trouble. I wanted Nerlens over Otto, but now it seems like we working on getting Greg Monroe :whew:

If we can get him for either Porter or even for Gortat?
If Detroit would take Porter and thats it? Shooooooot. Monroe would play so good that Gortat would next year have no problem being the backup. Then we can start talking about championships :banderas:

That's what I'm referring to, will Ernie regret using that draft pick on Gortat, instead of using it to get Monroe.
