I'll never hate on a brother getting paid, but he got lucky and landed a franchise tier player at odds with his former team.

There ain't nobody taking on Wall's contract.

Beal and a few others probably need to be moved too for the long term viability of that team as championship level contenders.

Whooooooo caresssss

The boy has been making shyt happen since The Nuggets days followed by the previous iteration of The Raps. This shot was just the icing on the cake that will immortalize him

Time to hit that money dance

This is the same type of offer that Michael Jordan got in 2000 to run the Wizards. MJ got an ownership stake too.

Ted Leonsis brought him in and convinced Polin of the arrangement. Of course, Polin fired Michael Jordan when he retired for the final time and MJ thought he was going back into the front office full-time.

Safe to say, Ted learned his lesson and is going for an actual basketball executive in Masai who is worthy of this.

I think its also safe to say, Masai's camp has a hand in leaking this to get leverage with Toronto IMO. There's no way he leaves now.

Hope the Wiz can pull it off. It’d be nice if they went through a rebrand and just started fresh.

To go from bum ass Ernie grunfield(worst gm of all time) to ujiri would be a blessing. Dc is a great market if anyone could turn as around its him.

fukk grunfield he should’ve been fired 10 years ago. dude was stealing money. Never did shyt not one 50 win season, no conference finals nothing. Gave Otto a damn max contract, gave the big Nigerian whatever the hell his name is 40 mill. Kd wouldn’t even take a meeting with us. Drafted bum ass Jarvis Hayes. Drafted no handle Otto. Bum ass Jan vesley. Gave Gil the max after his knees were shot.earnie grunfield ain’t shyt. How are you so terrible at your job yet keep it. He literally accomplished nothing. I can’t stand that damn Earnie

He made great moves but got a lot of luck too

Every championship team has had luck play in their favor. Let’s not downplay what he did. Dude is light years ahead of other gm’s he made decisions that no one else would’ve made. In less than 10 years he took the raps from laughing stocks to champions of the world

He was an everyday walking embodiment of white privilege and the ineptitude of DC sports. Its a huge step in the right direction if they do this and he’d be embraced in a big way out here too.

Gasol is 34, Lowry's 33, they claim Ibaka's 30 and Kawhi can walk out the door now.

Both jobs could potentially be huge clean ups... but you have to take an ownership stake if available

Foh with that “he’s like my son” shyt.

Masai wants to be near congress.

Masai is great but even he can’t work miracles with that roster. All he has to do is look at john walls contract and that’s enough for him to never want to go there
