Lets embrace some reality here, the guys career is by and large a disappointment on a lot of levels...

Illmatic is quite possibly the greatest rap album ever made and nobody can take that away from him but that's where it starts and ends...not sayin he didn't make anymore great albums (IWW, Stillmatic, and God's Son mainly...i'd say lost tapes but that dont count) but even if we include those that was over 10 years ago, dude hasn't had a legitimate BANGERR since "Made U Look".... *waits for some clown to say Life is Trash was a "classic" *

He's still putting out critically acclaimed music, still one of the premier lyricists in the game, and still sells VERY well on his releases. His album releases are still considered an event and gets lots of attention.
