But who has said that about Tinashe? I’m not being rhetorical, she said colorism and racism affect her career when the top female artists are similar complexions and there are plenty of light skinned artists. I’ve never heard anyone say her music or voice are unfailingly good.

Drake has been called soft and not Black enough, but he hasn’t said men don’t listen to him because he’s light-skinned.
