This is by design. They've shortened all the games that they've had in the playoffs by playing a more ball control style. They've only punted once and that was the first drive of the NE game.

If they needed to score 30 or 40+ they would have.

Give New Englands Defense credit they pretty much held them in the redzone. I'm aware they played ball control offense but they didn't want 3 points at the end of those drives. The chargers playedgood D as well.

Not gonna give them too much credit for letting the Broncos get over 500 yards. Also gotta factor in that there were two dropped TDs that would've sent them over 30 in both games. One by Welker and another by J.Thomas.
