damn Londell sonned the fukk out of them. Rosenberg was in way over his head. worth a watch. I don't understand what was so difficult for them to understand about Ricky Smiley. If Ricky throws your record into rotation or gives you attention it's way more powerful than if Rosenberg gives you a spin. It's called POWER rankings.
Their point was that his power is not related to hip hop. He was right about that. When you get into stuff like that you are just talking about general culture influence and Smiley could be on any list. THey are asking for the hip hop hook.

He also is an old, out of touch fukk who doesn't understand who appeals to the youth.
He's not the one who does the list, there's a bunch of people. He's the owner of the magazine and probably the one you want speaking for the company since he's respected, an OG and articulate.

Dog CTG's job is to be the Angela Yee.

Neither of these shows are really about Hip Hop...they are gossip shows.

Breakfast Club and Ebro in the Morning are ranked like 15 & 16 in NYC radio (maybe even higher)...neither one are that big.
#6 and #9......not bad being that they share the same target demographic
+ 16-30 year olds don't really listen to the radio like the much older WBLS target demographic

youre right.

but when looking online...their presence is less than WSHH & Vlad.
I honestly dont think CTG or the Hot97 cats have that much pull.

If any of them left their shows the most they could do is a semi popular Youtube channel.
Maybe not Ebro & Envy since they had good careers before this.
But CTG needs solid CoHost (his MTV2 shows are bad), and Rosenberg is a non issue.

LMAO!!!! ebro was chiilling reading the mag:troll: until breakfast club got mentioned :birdman:
Ebro stay professing that breakfast club is nationally syndicated and powered through iheartradio likes its a bad thing:shaq2:
He sound mad butt hurt and mad that angie Martinez and crew jumped ship and joined the enemy:youngsabo:
And we dont know peter rosenburg in the DMV prior to hot97, he a self professed hip hop nerd and is his own biggest hype man, even cipha dont like that nikka and they worked for years on juan epstein :heh:

And why is the source just going into the digital market??? they living in the 90s foreal and seem outdated
At least laura stylez knows her role and kept it mum, she gonna leave soon like k foxx and flourish after this opportunity being in the New York market

Sidenote* Maino wanted no parts of this debate, he was chilling texting his hoes:jawalrus:

:francis: Bullshyt "you don't agree with him so you must hate him" rhetoric. Pathetic.

He's too emotional, and thinks too much of himself. He has a voice in hip hop only because of his employer. Dude was right, if he got fired tomorrow he would just be a another bum
I haven't seen the list but I'm sure their are a lot of people on it that would have the same issue. I'm sure he'd have alot more opportunities if he were to lose his job. If you don't think alot of people aren't speaking from a place of hate then you're just being silly.
