Top 15 rap album ever for me, felt like black opulence in musical form. legendary songs, fantastic production, perfect sequence (especially the album opener and closer), braggadocious songs, motivation songs, introspective songs and probably Kanye’s best performance lyrically on any album.

One of my biggest regrets is never going to their concert. All my friends that went said it’s their best concert experience ever. Truly was an era defining album.

I need to listen to the album this week. I said I would when the ten-year anniversary hit.

I'm taking the time now to mention "Welcome to the Jungle" as a highlight. The production on that is amazing, and that was one of Jay-Z's best performances. He doesn't get emotional like that and you could hear the pain in his voice. Just asking for someone to care about his problems, hiding how he's really feeling because he doesn't want to look weak. :to:

I was on a clubhouse talk yesterday with several journalists and producers from the album. Pete rock, etc… consensus is that Otis is the best song from the album. Ye was writing his own lines on many of the songs. Kanye produced Otis.

Kanye set it up for Nicki to have the best verse on monster also.

It was a good talk… the producers were mum on speaking about WTT2 though.

My Own 🌍
the fact this is 10 years old lowkey got me like :mindblown: cause i remember the time period so vividly

missed the tour when it came to my city cause i worked second shift at the time, was mean mugging everybody at the job that night like :birdman:

i’d get off work and come back to the crib looking like the gif of dude who opens the fridge and there’s nothing there waiting for this shyt to leak :pachaha:

Illest Mofo Alive still sounds epic to this day :wow: wish they would’ve actually did a slow motion video for it

and lastly those saying a part 2 shouldn’t happen  it’d instantly draw a ton of attention/hype and they both got plenty of braggadocious raps left in the tank even with Ye in his gospel bag

Wild to think, I went to the tour at the Staples Center. Saw Kobe with the Kardashians (this was when he was gonna divorce Vanessa) and they closed the show by playing Nikkas In Paris like 20 times :blessed:

How time flies :wow:
I was at that same show, right in front of VIP section, got to dap up Kobe. :mjcry:

Also at that show: Drake, Tyler and most of Odd Future, Lauren London, Cassie, Jersey Shore guys, Kid Cudi, few more.. those the ones I recall off the top of my head. I actually went on back to back nights but it was the 2nd show I was literally sitting next to VIP section.

Top 5 concert of all time.
