Finally listened to the album (except the bonus tracks). A little dated in some spots, but better than I was expecting. Jay and Kanye had amazing chemistry on this, and they really brought out the best in each other. It might not be an undisputed classic, but it's a joint album that's actually worth listening to. One of the rare times you get two greats on one project and they actually......make great music.
I agree with whoever said this was Kanye's last really good project. Or at least the last project from Kanye in his prime, where it felt like he could do no wrong.

In all honesty its Jays last great album. Magna Carter was ass, 444 has no replay value, dont even need to discuss that carters album. Jay is lost without kanye musically, all he got is these smart dumb nikka raps now. Ever since jay started learning about history its been a wrap.

Thing is, this album was dope. A lot of people tend to have good memories thinking about how good it was.
But nobody listenin to this shyt now. You'll prolly give a couple of joints some nostaliga spins coz it was mentioned now, and never come back until the 15th anniversary or something
I think people just listen to popular music enough times to make themselves like it.
