You literally had one team(Lakers) that was great. Every eastern conf team was interchangeable with the Nets of all ppl being the mainstay.

NBA didnt get better until around 2004-2005.

what is aesthetically pleasing about watching the wizards or hawks and who is competitive in the east outside of the cavs?

the main point that i agree w/ tracy about is that there were more superstars in that era. more competition for that mvp spot. you had the retired stars plus dirk, duncan, kg in their primes.

As I stated on another thread ISO/Hero ball will generate more superstars than motion/ball movement
