Watched Shin Godzilla for the first time.

How they portray the crisis & how threatening Godzilla is so good. It felt very immersive in terms of all the shyt coming down.

I do admit keeping up with the subs was a bit hectic, but still absolutely fantastic.

I thought it was a cool watch but just a little overhyped IMO ... But that might be a bit because I watched it shortly after seeing Minus One which I consider to be one of the most satisfying trips to the movies of my life

That was probably for the best, shyt was dialogue heavy. The scenes with Godzilla were great, but the bulk of the movie is emergency disaster meetings with government officials.

It was cool, but not fukking with Minus One at all.

I feel like Minus One is easier on a rewatch, while with Shin I have to be locked in watching it. The immersion is absolutely outstanding.
