Watching Deadpool 2 again makes me realize that Deadpool is the MCU's Harley Quinn

Just a lot more effective in smaller doses.

Reynolds suffocated that movie with the preening and awful narration. The only great scene in the movie is Domino's first action sequence, and even that scene is almost ruined by Deadpool's constant meta-commentary. Seriously if you make Domino the star and Deadpool her sidekick I guarantee you'd get a better movie.

This is like watching a Superman movie and being annoyed at how mild mannered he is

This is like watching a Batman movie and getting annoyed at how he runs around beating up bad guys in a batsuit. Maybe you just dont like the character

Plus Harley Quinn was created a couple of years before Deadpool. He also had his own movie before her too. Harley Quinn is a pg13 Deadpool.
