Never saw the OG joint, how was it?
Me either lol only clips. I’ve heard the remake is where it’s at. I may have tried to stream it once but fell asleep I’m just low key a film buff esp bout Scarface I was watching it the other day.
The OG jawn, Scarface was more of a coward and a complete prick. He lived by the rep, compared to 1983 Scarface, where Tony was a complete monster in the dope game and had a bit of honor to his sleazebag ways.

I'm still tripping that the movie wasn't made after American Gangster. It was like the entire cast and production moved on from even embracing the flick.
Tony was no doubt a grade A scumbag and a pos. We just love watching the journey, his antics, and the myriad of great quotes that it had. I especially didn't care for him going after Frank's girl. not taking care of the journalist with the bomb detonation, and killing Manolo
I don’t condone Tony killing Manny, but I get it. 
He knows how Manny got down. He wasn’t foul with it, but the man was clearly a player and Tony didn’t want that shyt around his sister. Not only did Manny violate, he went behind his back to do it. He never wanted to kill breh, as evidenced by his breakdown at the end of the film, but Manny also handled that shyt in the WORST way imaginable. Had he sat Tony down and told him up front instead of coming to the door in a robe, looking like he just put Gina through the mattress ? He’d have probably gotten a few loose teeth and walked that shyt off, but he’d ultimately be alive rn.
