Lol... kinda extreme thread

If Dallas winning, Im happy..

College football is more if a mirage than NFL

Listen, if you take the numbered ranking off 85% of the teams that loss yesterday, would it truly be a huge deal?

Number 8 UCLA loses.. if no number was in front of UCLA, would we care? Same for A&M, same for most them..

I don't understand why CBS don't flex and show Broncs/Cards games, instead of Jets/Chargers:scust:

So. Cal
Superior doesn't equal more entertaining. Besides lets not act like the nfl doesn't have the same exact mistakes as college games. I'd rather be entertained all day with mistakes than be bored most of the day with the same mistakes.

u only saying this cuz ur team is 1-3 :mjpls:

Philly. Fucc a Eagle. I mean dat.
You guys make excuses for the NFL.

The reality is, unless you pay $300 to get NFL Sunday Ticket, the majority of the games in (at least my) market suck.

The Monday Night games suck, the thursday night games suck harder, and Sunday night games are like 1 good game a month

And for all this "superior" product talk, where do 100% of NFL players come from?
But what is every CFB players main goal? :what:

Parity and competitiveness in the NFL is higher; the players are better in most every way; the schemes are more advanced in most every way. I remember Matt Barkley looked very good at USC. But in the NFL he's not even a backup. He throws picks all day because his arm is too weak. In CFB his arm strenth didn't matter much. I even remember some draftnicks saying he had a decent to strong arm because he can throw the deep ball:

The nature of CFB made it difficult to see that Barkley is in fact just another marginal weak-armed West Coast QB. So while Barkley was once Trojan superhero and Heisman candidate, now he's a soon-to-be street bum. That's why I can't watch CFB. It's more about pomp and fukkery than actual results:

I hate to see bench players acting like starters. I hate it. Alternatively, only in CFB would Cam Newton sit behind Tim Tebow. Eric Ebron, a TE, recently said the mental part of the NFL is mind-boggling. In CFB Ebron didn't have to worry about any complexities. He was as good as his QB allowed him. In the NFL he has to sit and learn.

If you're a coach yeah all that's true but sitting down and watching games for entertainment (which is the purpose of both) the NFL can't compare week in week out.

You don't really like football if you just follow your team

Dog I love football but why the fukk would I be hyped to watch a pats/colts game. Nothing they do has anything to do with my team. I'll watch but I couldn't care less what happens or who wins or loses cause it's irrelevant to my team.

All about the atmosphere here. I watch more NFL than CFB, but only cause Saturdays are soccer days. And the Giants play on Sundays.

Excitement, atmosphere, pride, college football easily wins.

Yes the NFL is all about parity, but how much of that parity comes from all the dubious flags thrown in a game :yeshrug:
