Greg was asked about the Lance phenomenon and basically responded that it was an amazing story if true....he said if it was not true, it would be a great fraud. IF.
Lance went after him hard.

Some of Lance's friends did suspect him of cheating and tried to tell the truth about it.
But Lance was so powerful and had so many political connections that he kept the lie going for years.
