feel like this is all Bret making excuses right now so far
you talkin about the greatest rivalries joint breh?
yeah it was all bret sitting there making excuses while hbk sat there, knowing the truth, letting bret vent and collecting a paycheck
Shawn's book and his RF video shoot and
are the real truths. unpopular to smark hivemind but that's just the way it is
credit to Bret he has recently started to take some blame for the whole thing. But that can't undo the years of smark rage that he perpetuated towards shawnYeah watching it on netflix, I really dont doubt hbk was difficult to work with but Bret right now -_-
What I take from it so far is Bret believed he was being overshadowed by Shawn while having a match up against Austincredit to Bret he has recently started to take some blame for the whole thing. But that can't undo the years of smark rage that he perpetuated towards shawn
Shawn has always treated the thing as just another obstacle to overcome. Perhaps Bret never had those challenges because he came in as the son of a legendary promoter.
There's so many angles to take on the whole thing and so many opinions.

That money got Bret and now he's stuck making his now infamous 4/10 face lol
Shawn was a prick obviously at the time and Vince was a snake for this
Can't argue these statementsYou gotta remember Vince was partying hard after that '94 exoneration. VKM was wildin out like Zimmerman at a buffet
Vince and Shawn/the Kliq gravitated together at that time. They were the first dudes to go out and get loaded at a bar with Vince since Bollea was in town.
Plus Shawn had undeniable crowd support. He was a heel that the fans turned face. Vince picked Shawn for a variety of reasons
Vince also loved Shawn's family, Shawns pops was a cold blooded Air Force colonel who bombed enemies mercilessly. Vince being the ruthless businessman he was saw that swag in Shawn and respected his passion for the business and American wrestling
Vince and Shawn were a match made in heaven, yet Vince still tried to accommodate Bret... Until late 97
it's all in fun, we gotta have conflict to make this the unique board it is. no hard feelings anywhereCan't argue these statements
This forum specifically the "kliq haters" just make the most retarded statements about HBK when everybody knows he put on 5 star matches
I'm a micheal hickenbottom fan, but damn, you're really on his nutsYou gotta remember Vince was partying hard after that '94 exoneration. VKM was wildin out like Zimmerman at a buffet

just balancing out the smark/dirtsheet dikkridery of the hitman breh
the truth shall set you free

I believe
i wasnt thereMontreal Screwjob part was just Shawn talking in circles and crying while Bret just kept talking about how much he respected Shawn; both saying they really just wanted each others' respect... woulda been better if they just had JR or another narrator breaking down the facts of what actually happened and then having Bret and HBK commenting on it. Having HBK and Bret trying to explain what happened, they went a little too soft
imoi wasnt there
