no it’s not. This episode is on Spider-Man TAS and Beast is caught by Herbert Landon who is trying to “cure” all mutants. He technically was working for the kingpin and promised him an army of mutant soldiers but that was so he could use his resources to eradicate mutants.
this episode bothered me because they made wolverine seem weak asf compared to Spider-Man but I get it since it was technically his show the X-men were featured on. Coincidentally enough when this episode originally aired, the episode where wolverine was shook and in tears after fighting Proteus aired immediately after
beast is never caught by the friends of humanity in this series. You may be thinking of Jubilee getting caught due to being setup by Morph or when Beast was smashing the blind chick and cured her of blindness. They kidnap her and he infiltrates their hideout.
this show is absolute piff. Was watching the episode where Wolverine goes back to Canada and fights alpha flight
