Not sure if Mooney wrote that bit or not, but Brady's appearance on the Chappelle Show in his famous skit was a direct response to the Mooney thing. He reached out to Chappelle saying he didn't appreciate his Blackness being questioned, and Dave let him on the show and came up with a skit that would make fun of the idea as a way to compensate for it.
