WB Confirms new Mortal Kombat movie

Part 2 was ass cheeks. 
As far as this movie goes, shyt sounds wack as hell. Its gonna be some random teenager that works at Walmart who finds out he has powers?
That's already a guaranteed PG-13 rating. They're injecting a random character in the story as the lead just like that bullshyt ass Resident Evil movie. They're gonna loosely base this shyt on the game series and sprinkle in what they think these teenagers wanna see in a movie.
I hope I'm wrong though.

The plot from the latest MK game was damn good, why not just follow that?

If they are not sticking to the source material, then don't do it.
KOF, Tekken, and all these fighting games being turned into movies all turned out to be the worst of garbage. Not to mention them raping DBZ in the film.

Depends on what they do, if it has a small scope then 40 million are great but I doubt they gonna have a small story and few char.
