Notwithstanding the bikers treatment of Harlem Heat in 96 (thank goodness WCW actually used their brain for once and had them open the PPV the next year so they could leave early) and notwithstanding Easy E using the PPV to take a weekend trip to Sturgis on Turner’s dime, how you gonna leave out “Hog/Road Wild“ OP?

Edit: I just checked Road Wild 1997 on the Network, and some of them biker cacs was raising the roof and dancing to Harlem Heat’s theme with absolutely no rhythm :mjlol:

Other than the Georgia Dome did they do any football stadiums?

I went to a show they had at the Astrodome, and I remember them running shows at the Super Dome and the Rams stadium in St. Louis. I’m sure they probably did more, but those are the ones I remember off the top of my head.

Wcw definitely made wwf step it up in the stage production department.

WWF was still using old school house show curtains.:flabbynsick:

Really something that's missing in the industry cuz everybody doing the same basic led jumbo tron.:russell:

Definitely facts. One thing that got me into pre-Nitro WCW growing up were the cool stage sets and ramps they had for different PPVs and Clashes. Even the pyro was creative in some aspects.

I remember watching the Sting/Flair joint from GAB, and the feeling I had when I saw that black banner with Sting’s face come down from the ceiling and shoot them sparks out during the post match celebration :wow:
